The LED light is surprisingly bright without being distracting. It really helps me see what I'm doing.
I've had cats my entire life, and nail trimming has always been my least favorite part of grooming. My biggest fear wasn't that my cats would wiggle, it was accidentally cutting too close. The LED light has honestly given me a lot more confidence. It's much easier to see what I'm doing, especially on my Ragdoll's lighter nails. I also didn't think I'd care about the little nail catcher, but now I don't have tiny nail clippings shooting across the room anymore. It's one of those small features that makes the whole experience feel less messy. Nail trims still aren't my cat's favorite activity, but they're definitely less stressful for both of us now.

The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because I thought the nail catcher would hold every clipping. Occasionally one still manages to escape, but it's still far less mess than my old clipper.
