I bought this mainly for trimming the fur between my Ragdoll's paw pads. The built-in light makes it so much easier to see what I'm doing, especially with all that fluff. No more slipping on hardwood floors.
Olivia C.
I'm really happy with the FurTrim. It's quiet, easy to handle, and works especially well for trimming around the paws and sanitary area.
Emily C.
My cat absolutely hates loud trimmers, so I was nervous trying another one. This is much quieter than the old trimmer we had and she tolerated it surprisingly well.
Rachel J.
The size is perfect for detail work. I use it around the paws and for small sanitary trims between grooming appointments. Battery life has been great so far.
Tiffany P.
I used to use tiny scissors and stress myself out every time. FurTrim feels much safer around delicate areas and gives me a lot more control.
Lauren V.
My cat still isn't thrilled about grooming day, but at least we're no longer wrestling over paw trims. I'll take that as a win.
Megan D.
The first thing I noticed was how lightweight it is. I can actually hold a paw and trim at the same time without feeling awkward. Makes quick touch-ups really easy.
Kaylee H.
I originally bought it for poopy pantaloons 😅, but ended up using it for little knots behind the legs too. It's become one of those tools I didn't realize I needed until I had it.
Amber F.
Does the job nicely. Sometimes needs a second pass on thicker fur but still works well.
Florence M.
My Ragdoll hates scissors but tolerates this really well. No tugging, no stress. Big difference.
James W.
Super gentle. I even tested it on my skin first 😅 doesn’t cut or hurt. Feels very safe to use.
Daisy F.
Works well for touch-ups and little mats. It's not something I use every week, but whenever I need to clean up paws or trim a knot, I'm glad I have it.
Jenna M.
The LED light is actually really helpful, especially around paws. Makes it easier to see what you’re doing.
Adam D.
Way better than using scissors. Faster and no risk of accidentally hurting my cat.
Oliver J.
Battery lasts long and it’s very lightweight. Easy to handle even in tricky areas.
Amelia U.
I like the size, very easy to control. Not for big grooming jobs but perfect for details.
Summer G.
My boy grows fur between his toe beans faster than I can keep up with. This makes paw trims so much easier and the LED light is genuinely useful, not just a gimmick.
Brooke S.
The sanitary trims alone make this worth it. Fellow long-haired cat owners will understand. 😅 It's small, easy to control, and much less intimidating than scissors.
Danielle W.
I mainly got this for trimming around my cat's back end because scissors make me nervous. It's easy to control, surprisingly quiet, and my cat tolerated it really well. Very happy with it!

Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 54 reviews.
I'm really happy with the FurTrim. It's quiet, easy to handle, and works especially well for trimming around the paws and sanitary area. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's not the most powerful trimmer I've used, but for what I use it for, that's probably a good thing. I wouldn't want anything too powerful around such sensitive areas anyway. It's also really quiet, which is a big plus since my cat doesn't get nearly as nervous around it. Overall, very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.
I have lots of cats. Some are incredibly patient, while others think every grooming tool is their greatest enemy.
The reason I keep reaching for FurTrim is because it's small and easy to control. I don't need to drag out a full-sized clipper just to clean up paw fluff or tidy the back legs area. The LED light is especially helpful with white paws because it makes everything much easier to see. It's saved me a lot of time and has made basic grooming feel much less intimidating.
I bought this mainly for trimming the fur between my Ragdoll's paw pads. The built-in light makes it so much easier to see what I'm doing, especially with all that fluff. No more slipping on hardwood floors.
The sanitary trims alone make this worth it. Fellow long-haired cat owners will understand. 😅 It's small, easy to control, and much less intimidating than scissors.
I bought this because my cat grows little Grinch feet every few weeks. 😹 It takes me maybe five minutes to clean up her paw pads now and she doesn't slide across the kitchen floor anymore.
I have a fluffy Ragdoll who somehow manages to grow paw fur overnight. 😅 Every few weeks she'd start sliding across our hardwood floors and tracking litter all over the house. I used to trim her paws with little grooming scissors, but I was always nervous she'd move at the wrong moment.
FurTrim has made the whole process feel much less stressful. The LED light actually helps more than I expected because it's easier to see exactly where the fur needs trimming. Now paw maintenance takes maybe five minutes, and I don't spend the entire time worrying that she's going to suddenly yank her foot away.
I kept seeing people argue online about whether you should trim the fur between your cat's paw pads. Half the comments said "never touch it," the other half said it was important for long-haired cats.
I finally decided to give it a try because my Ragdoll kept sliding across our hardwood floors and tracking litter everywhere. The difference was immediate. I'm sweeping up way less litter every day. I wish I'd done it sooner.
Sometimes it's the little tools that end up being the most useful. I don't use FurTrim every week, but every time I need it, I'm glad it's in the drawer.
Long-haired cat owners will know exactly what I mean... sometimes things get stuck where they really shouldn't. 😅 Keeping the fur around my Ragdoll's back end trimmed has made life so much easier for both of us.

It works really well for regular maintenance, but don't expect it to power through large, tightly packed mats. I tried using it on a knot that had been there way too long and it struggled. After brushing the mat out first, it handled the remaining fur perfectly.
Works well for touch-ups and little mats. It's not something I use every week, but whenever I need to clean up paws or trim a knot, I'm glad I have it.

My cat absolutely hates loud trimmers, so I was nervous trying another one. This is much quieter than the old trimmer we had and she tolerated it surprisingly well.
It was very useful as my cat had a lot of matting but one thing that made it hard was the automatic buzzing noise as soon as it was turned on. It would always startle my cat, making it harder to cooperate.
Store owner replied:
Hi Victoria, thank you so much for sharing your experience. 🤍 We’re really glad to hear that FurTrim was useful for your cat.
Some cats can be especially sensitive to new sounds, even with a quiet, low-vibration trimmer. One thing that can really help is introducing FurTrim gradually before using it for grooming. Try turning it on a short distance away from your cat for just a few seconds at a time, without trying to trim anything. Pairing the sound with treats, praise, or cuddles can help your cat start associating it with something positive.
Once your cat seems comfortable with the sound, you can gradually bring the trimmer closer and keep the first grooming sessions very short. Giving them time to get familiar with it can make a big difference, especially for more sensitive cats.
Thank you again for your feedback, Victoria. We hope these little steps help make your next grooming session a calmer one. 🤍

The motor is quieter than I expected, which is great for my nervous cat. The trade-off is that it's a bit less powerful than heavy-duty clippers. That's actually fine for the kind of trimming I bought it for, but it's worth knowing.
I thought this would replace all of my grooming tools, but it's really more of a maintenance trimmer. It's fantastic for paw pads, around the tail, and little touch-ups. For really thick mats, I still need to work them out before trimming.
I have one of those cats that hears a strange sound and disappears under the bed for the next hour. I was honestly nervous about using any kind of trimmer, but this one is much quieter than I expected. She stayed calm long enough for me to finish her paw trim, which has literally never happened before.
My cat is ridiculously sensitive to noise. The vacuum? Gone. Hair dryer? Gone. Even opening a can too loudly 😅 I was expecting the same reaction with FurTrim, but she barely acknowledged it. That alone made it worth buying.
Our Ragdoll occasionally gets little messes caught in the fur under her tail, especially if we let it grow too long. I use FurTrim every few weeks now and it's made a noticeable difference. Definitely easier than trying to fix things after the fact.
Nobody tells you that owning a long-haired cat sometimes means giving little "butt haircuts." 😂 FurTrim has made that job so much easier. It's become part of our regular grooming routine and cleanup is a lot less dramatic now.
I bought this mainly for my cat's fluffy pants. She has so much fur back there that keeping it trimmed has saved us from more than a few messy surprises. Quick, easy, and much less stressful than using scissors.
I genuinely thought trimming paw fur was just something people did for aesthetics. Turns out it actually has a purpose.
My cat was constantly collecting litter between her paw pads. After her first paw trim, problems pretty much disappeared. I had no idea such a small thing could make that much difference.
I was honestly scared to trim my cat's paw fur because social media made it sound like a terrible idea. 😅 After reading so many conflicting opinions, I finally asked my groomer who said, "For fluffy cats? Absolutely."
Now I understand why. No more little litter footprints all over the bathroom, and my Ragdoll doesn't drift around corners anymore.
I used to put off trimming my cat's paws because it always felt like such a hassle. I'd grab scissors, try to keep her still, apologize every thirty seconds, and somehow we'd both end up frustrated.
Now I just grab FurTrim, turn it on and get it done. It isn't some magical tool that makes cats suddenly love grooming, but it makes the whole process quicker, safer and far less stressful. For me, that's been the biggest difference.
This was one of those purchases where I didn't think I'd use it very often. Turns out I use it almost every month.
Our Longhair grows fur between her paw pads incredibly fast, and once it gets too long she starts collecting litter everywhere. We also occasionally need to trim a tiny mat before it gets worse. FurTrim has been perfect for those little maintenance jobs that don't justify a trip to the groomer.
I especially like that it's rechargeable and quiet. It feels more like a precision grooming tool than a bulky clipper, which makes me much more confident using it around delicate areas.
